Logan Square in Philadelphia is on the way to the art museum if your walking up the ben franklin pkwy.  Which is sweet because early on franklin, theres free sidestreet parking.  After we checked out of the hotel, we walked through Logan Square on the way to the Art Museum and passed through Logan Square and Saw this child checking out the fountain.  The only word the child knew was 'eeee' so the meaning of this photograph must be open to interpretation.  But to me its about the entire weekend experience that it encompassed.

Look, it's a shed.  It's red.  Truck looks like it belongs to farmer Fred.  That because we're in Elkton.  AKA assortments of random broken down vehicles filling yards, huge skys, beef jerky and beer at every gas station, one bar for a five to ten mile radius, etc. etc.  Just got out of band practice.  I was way tired, and shot in higher iso on accident than i would have liked.  Shutter speed: 10 seconds, Aperture: 16.

This dog is an asshole more often than not. But like any dog, you can't help but love the thing. It was growling at me this entire time. This is probably one of the first shots I took with my new D40. Not very well to do, I'm trying to become more familiar with the Nikon D40 and how to use all of its tools to my advantage. We'll see how this progresses...
